The Friends of Auburn Heights connects generations to foster excitement for Auburn Valley State Park, steam-era technology and American life at the dawn of the automotive age.

$5,000 goal

For more than a half century, the Auburn Valley Railroad (AVRR), proudly operated by the Friends of Auburn Heights and Marshall Steam Museum, has delighted passengers of all ages. The two coal-fired locomotives, built by T. Clarence Marshall in 1960 & 1961, remain steamin' strong, but the passenger cars, which have served faithfully for decades, need replacement. So we turn to you, our loyal supporters, to help us keep the AVRR steamin' along for another half century.

Your contribution will not only ensure the continued operation of this beloved attraction but will ensure that its legacy endures for many years to come. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal of acquiring five new three-seat cars and two bench seats, preserving the magic of steam-powered travel.

Thank you for your unwavering support and for being a part of the journey.
