About Friends of Auburn Heights

Mission: The Friends of Auburn Heights connects generations to foster excitement for Auburn Valley State Park, steam-era technology and American life at the dawn of the automotive age.

To accomplish this mission, the Friends of Auburn Heights strives to:

- Provide experiential programs and events that connect generations;
- Share the ingenuity, invention and innovation behind early and emerging technologies, encouraging the public to observe, inspect and experience the vintage cars, trains and artifacts in the museum collections;
- Offer educational programs for children (from fields trips and outreach to scouting opportunities and summer camps) that inspire a lifelong love of learning and a curiosity in science, technology and history; 
- Share the organization's archival holdings with a growing audience across the globe.
