ATTENTION CIVIL RIGHTS WATCHDOGS:

This year, the board of the ACLU of Delaware is prepared to DOUBLE your Do More 24 gifts up to $12,000!!! That’s right - your gift = DOUBLED!! Keep reading to find out how your doubled gift will impact Delaware this year.

Right now, our team is hard at work in the fight to protect people living in Delaware prisons, challenge racially-motivated voter suppression, demand action on police accountability, increase equity in education, and answer every attack on our fundamental freedoms with the principled determination and relentlessness that is the hallmark of the ACLU.

And that’s why this year’s theme for the ACLU of Delaware is Do More for CIVIL LIBERTIES!

Help us Do More for Voting Rights by supporting our work to expand access to the ballot through vote by mail options and expanded registration opportunities.

Help us Do More for Education by supporting our hands-on work in schools and communities to reform discipline, expand equity, and increase resources.

Help us Do More for Smart Justice by supporting our efforts to expand access to second chances, fight to amend LEOBOR, and bring communities to the doors of Legislative Hall (even if it's a Zoom door) so their voices are heard.

Help us Do More for Housing Justice by ensuring that all renters who are facing eviction get a fair shake at a stable home with representation in court.

We continue to see bills, actions, and decisions that are blatant attempts to control who has access to the ballot and who does not, who has bodily autonomy and who does not, who deserves to learn in an amply resourced and safe school environment, and much, much more. In order to create the change we demand to see, we need to elect equal rights champions to office, bring our communities into conversations about legislation that affects us, and reduce barriers to representation, resources, and the rights we are all entitled to in the US Constitution.
With the midterms on the horizon, your local ACLU has been fighting relentlessly on all fronts – in the courts, with the General Assembly, and on the ground – to defend the rights of every Delawarean. But now, you have a critical role to play.

With your gift, we will remain ready to act quickly and decisively all throughout the year ahead to protect people's fundamental freedoms and defend our democracy.

Please consider giving to the ACLU of Delaware during this year’s Do More 24 giving day, and help pave the way for progress.

On behalf of all of us at the ACLU, thank you for all you have already done to protect our civil rights. We are with you in this fight.
