The Delaware Zoological Society is a 501c3 nonprofit partner of the Brandywine Zoo. Our vision for every guest and every visit, is to inspire awe and action for wildlife. 

Every year the Brandywine Zoo engages thousands of people and introduces them to the wonderful world of animals and helps visitors understand the role we all play in protecting animals worldwide and in their natural habitats. Zoos provide educational opportunities to the public, helping people understand the importance of conservation and the threats animals face in the wild. 

The Brandywine Zoo is home to lemurs, red pandas, binturong, giant anteater, green tree python, and others. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. This accreditation is evidence of a professional zoo operating in the best interest of the animals and safety of the visitors.
