Jan. 12 | 12-12:50pm: The 10 Words That Matter: Presentation Skills with Impact with Teresa J Avery
The ability to make an impact with a presentation is critical for every professional. Whether you’re looking to persuade a potential donor about the merits of a new program, testify in front of Legislative Hall about a critical piece of legislation, or share your hard-earned wisdom with a room of hundreds, you need to know how to grab their attention, and make your point with gusto. In this interactive program, Teresa will guide you through constructing a killer presentation from the ground up. You’ll learn why there are only 10 words that matter, what’s in a wake-up call, and how you make PR squared. And this isn’t a lecture. Bring a notebook, pen, and your thoughts about a presentation or pitch you need to make. You’ll have the opportunity to practice and get real-time feedback on these concepts. (Teresa J Avery, Avery Impact)

In this session, Certified Director of Operations Jessica helps you close the gap between intention and execution by identifying operational patterns that quietly sabotage progress. You’ll learn how to prioritize what truly matters, streamline systems that keep your mission moving forward, and bring meaningful closure to your priorities so your nonprofit’s impact doesn’t just start strong, it sticks. (Jessica Cannavo, JC Collaborative)

Jan. 29 | 12-12:50pm: Syncing Email and Social Media for Maximum Impact with Jessica Johnstone & Dara McBride
Many small to mid-sized nonprofits treat email and social media as separate tasks, which leads to donor fatigue and inconsistent messaging. A donor needs to see your message in their inbox and their feed to take action. Join Jess and Dara to learn how to create a marketing experience that maximizes your time and resources, where email and social media amplify one another during—and after—giving days like Do More 24 Delaware. (Jessica Johnstone & Dara McBride, Epic Marketing)
