About Delaware Zoological Society (Brandywine Zoo)

Mission: The Delaware Zoological Society is a dedicated partner of the Brandywine Zoo and supports its mission to engage in, and inspire wildlife conservation.

The purpose of the Delaware Zoological Society is to provide a comprehensive program of conservation, education and recreation to the citizens of the State of Delaware and the Brandywine Valley in support of the Brandywine Zoo.

The Brandywine Zoo is managed by DNREC Division of Parks and Recreation with the support of the Delaware Zoological Society.

The Delaware Zoological Society is a non-profit membership organization. Membership is a great way to help us while you benefit too. Members pay one annual fee and may visit the zoo without charge as often as desired, Members also get priority access to programs and discounts on key offerings, like camps.

The Society’s Annual Fund campaign helps fund the day-to-day work needed to run the business of the zoo, and the Our ZOO Re-imagined capital campaign looks to fund big improvements on the grounds of the zoo. Both campaigns welcome donors.
