KSI has helped individuals with disabilities maximize their abilities since 1962 to help them build better lives. Through its Pre-Vocational and Life Enrichment programs, KSI provides personalized training and life experiences to help individuals with diverse needs, abilities and interests prepare for employment and lead ­productive lives. Participants, their providers and families, and KSI Case Managers develop plans together that help individuals achieve their desired goals.

 

Participants in KSI’s programs are able to access the opportunities available to them by utilizing the organization’s Transportation Services. A fleet of vans and busses brings individuals between home and KSI’s Milford Skill Development Center, or to community work opportunities, on a daily basis. KSI Transportation also enables individuals to participate in community inclusion activities, clubs and cultural experiences, as well as providing access to volunteer opportunities that increase their skills and independence.
