Junior League of Wilmington

Organization Mission:

The Junior League of Wilmington is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

For 105 years, the Junior League of Wilmington has been a catalyst for impactful change in the community through our initiatives and partnerships to improve the health, education, and welfare of those in our city.

Our current initiative is Stand Up. Period. which addresses period poverty and removing barriers that prevent people from participating fully in their lives due to their menstrual cycle. With your help, we can continue to provide safe and free supplies to those in our community while breaking down the stigma of menstruation. Since 2019, the Junior League of Wilmington has distributed over 250,000 period supplies to the community through our period supply banking program.
