Jefferson Street Center has been working to grow neighborhood stewardship and support community development and revitalization projects since the inception of the Washington Heights Blueprint Revitalization Plan in 2017. Since then, JSC has supported and partnered in community-driven efforts, including the development of an incubator community hub in partnership with Hanover Presbyterian Church. The goal of opening this space to grassroots organizations, microbusinesses and local engagement projects is to provide an accessible and safe place for all community members to grow,  connect and become successful. Most importantly, our goal is to share this space with our neighbors, collaborators and local community leaders who want to make our city a better, safer and thriving place to live.
