Help us reduce trauma for foster youth and children by facilitating safe, in-person meetings with their biological families. During the pandemic, it's been tough for foster children to maintain important in-person visits with their birth families. Studies confirm the psycho-social value and emotional well-being benefits of these visitations are a proven and essential component to successful family reunification. For our many low-income families, transportation and related expenses are often a barrier to these visits. Additional PPE costs (masks, hand sanitizers and thermometers) associated with safe visit offer additional barriers.  Your support will ensure these important parent-child interactions by funding the transportation, PPE and other minimal associated expenses.
