People deserve to feel valued, loved, supported, included, safe, and empowered.
People's Place has been providing services to help Delawareans achieve what they deserve for the past 50 years.
We do this through providing advocacy, case management, intervention and prevention, shelter, housing, and more. We assist a broad population that supports teenagers in and exiting foster care, women and children in domestic violence situations, families, individuals seeking mental health counseling, Veterans, and more.
Our ten programs consist of Abriendo Puertas, Center for Community Justice, Counseling Centers, Family Visitation Centers, Group Home for Girls, Independent Living, SAFE, Turning Point, and Whatcoat Social Services.
How do you help the people of your community? Your loved ones? Neighbors? Strangers?
How does it feel when someone you know, don't know or love helps you through a trying moment, day, or situation?
Whether you help others through your line of work, acts of kindness or support towards our organization, Delaware needs more people just simply helping people.
We thank you for being a part of Delaware's 24 hours of giving by helping others or by graciously supporting People's Place and its mission.
Follow us on March 2nd and 3rd as we highlight how the People of our organization, and our community help those around us!
