Mark Carter takes on the Commuter Challenge !!!

A fundraiser for 2nd Annual Commuter Challenge @ Monkey Hill (Urban Bike Project of Wilmington)

$500 raised from 18 donors

$500 goal

I’m Mark Carter.

I’m fundraising for 2nd Annual Commuter Challenge @ Monkey Hill (Urban Bike Project of Wilmington).

My name is Mark, and I live down by the beach.  I have had the fortune of working with Urban Bike Project over the years, and leave it to them create such a fun way to fundraise.  I hope you'll consider making a donation to my page to help  support their mission and help create community via pedal power.

I'm riding in the UBP's "Monkey Hill Climb Commuter Challenge" to not only raise funds for an awesome non-profit organization, but I also want to prove even though the beach is flat, cyclists down here can ride some hills.

An aspect of the challenge is to add weight to yourself & your bike as you work toward your fundraising goal.

My goal is to raise $500, and I've set up some 'bench marks' that will be added to my ride to help us get to the $500 goal.

  • Once $50 is raised, I'll add a full fanny pack to myself.
  • When $100 is raised, I'll add one full pannier.
  • When $250, I'll add a second full pannier.
  • Once $500 is raised, I'll pull  a trailer.

I hope you'll consider a donation to my page or to UBP in general.

Thanks & Cheers!!!
