Mission: Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
The Girls Inc. Experience equips girls to navigate gender, economic and social barriers and grow into healthy, educated and independent adults. Our programs aim are designed to fulfill our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Girls Inc. responds and adapts to the changing needs of girls and their communities. Girls who stay in our programs over time, are empowered to reach their full potential and to understand, value, and assert their rights. Our programs focuses on three areas:
- Strong/Healthy Living -Makes healthy choices - Manages reproductive health - Has healthy relationships - Has sound body image
- Smart/Academic Enrichment and Support Motivated to achieveImproved academic performance - Graduates from high school and has post-secondary education - Sets & achieves personal, educational and career goals
- Bold/Independent/Life Skills Uses own voice & advocates for others - Is resilient - Has resistance skills - Ability to regulate emotion - Knowledge of life skills application
