Delmarva Public Media uses a powerful network of three public radio broadcast stations and associated online formats to strengthen access to and experience with arts and culture on Maryland’s Eastern Shore by providing curated national and home-grown music content, supporting other local arts organizations, and training the next generation of arts & culture media leaders.
About Us
Delmarva Public Media is a collaboration of public radio stations owned by Salisbury University (WSCL and WSDL) and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (WESM).
Together, our three stations bring you the widest variety of public radio programming on the Delmarva Peninsula.
Our Story
For nearly 40 years, these stations have provided quality music, news, and programming to listeners across the Delmarva region.
On July 1, 2020, WSCL, WSDL, and WESM united under one collective identity — Delmarva Public Media — to strengthen our shared mission and expand our reach.

Discovery: we believe that everyone should have a chance to find and cultivate their musical passions by exploring multiple musical genres, learning more about music from trusted experts and experiencing live arts and culture first-hand in person or through media.
Innovation: we in believe in fostering a culture of listening and introspection, and encouraging curiosity and experimentation.
Collaboration: we believe that expanding access to and appreciation of the arts is a collaborative effort. That public media can and should expand the reach, scope and impact of the important work done by local arts organizations.
