Organization Mission:

Delaware Womenade, Inc. is a grassroots local women’s nonprofit organization whose mission is to support women and their children who are victims and survivors of domestic violence. We accomplish this effort through monetary donations and contributions of much needed items.

Support Delaware Womande and its mission to serve communities in Delaware.
About Delaware Womenade, Inc.

Our support provides critically necessary funding throughout the year to empower these families to find their path forward towards growth and independence. Often these families arrive at a shelter with their belongings in trash bags. They are fleeing for their safety from the torment of domestic abuse.

During the year we meet frequently to raise awareness, funds, and in-kind contributions. Our fundraising activities include Potluck Dinner meetings, Tennis and Pickleball socials, a Holiday Wish Drive, and the largest fundraiser,  our Annual Games Day Event. Our hope is, through all these donations we will make a difference to this critical need in our area. Beyond our contributions, the true impact on the lives of those who need the help, and the amazing commitment of our group, are immeasurable.

We partner with organizations such as People’s Place 2, a non-profit organization in Milford DE. They operate three shelters for women and children in Sussex and Kent Counties.

Our mission is to inspire these families to transition into their next phase of growth and independence safely.
