Annual Scholarship Fund

A fundraiser for Goldey-Beacom College

$10,739 raised from 54 donors

$50,000 goal

No matter when you graduated—whether it was in the post-war boom of the 1950s, the revolutionary 60s and 70s, the high-tech optimism of the 80s and 90s, the early 2000s when Goldey-Beacom went wireless,  or even in the uncertain but resilient years surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic —you share something powerful with every current GBC student: you were once filled with hope, uncertainty, and ambition, building a future with the help of people who believed in you.

Now, it’s your opportunity to be that believer for someone else.

Think back to what it was like when you were a student. You may remember stretching every dollar to afford tuition and books. Perhaps you held down a job while balancing full-time classes. Maybe you were the first in your family to pursue higher education, navigating everything from financial aid to finding your place. In those moments, even the smallest act of support—from a professor, a friend, or a scholarship—could change everything.

Today’s students walk the same paths and face many of the same struggles, but the stakes have grown higher. With rising costs and life’s uncertainties, financial barriers often stand between a student and their degree. That’s where the Annual Scholarship Fund comes in—and where your generosity has a real, lasting impact.

When you give to the Annual Scholarship Fund, you're helping real students in real time. Your donation helps a first-generation student stay enrolled during a family emergency. It supports a single parent returning to school after years away. It allows a student on the brink of dropping out to continue and graduate—ready to contribute to their community, their career, and their world.

Your gift doesn’t just support tuition. It fuels dreams, builds resilience, and creates opportunities that echo through generations. You are ensuring that the same transformational experience you once had at Goldey-Beacom College is still available to those coming up behind you.
Goldey-Beacom is more than just a college. It's a community of alumni, students, faculty, and staff who believe in the power of education and the promise of potential. When you give back, you’re not just honoring your own story—you’re helping someone else begin theirs.
No matter the size of your contribution, your support keeps the Goldey-Beacom legacy alive and thriving. Once, someone helped you. Now, it’s your turn to help them Achieve Greater

Your gift will be recognized in the annual GBC magazine, as well as online if you choose.

As an NCAA Division II college, GBC is home to 13 sports programs including basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and softball. While living on or off campus, students become part of an academic, athletic and social tradition – all in a safe, welcoming suburban setting.

GBC embraces diversity representing 22 states and 60 nations. Characterized by its small size and ethnic diversity, GBC provides a quality, rigorous education to a primarily under-served population of first-generation students as well as those with high financial need. Upon arrival, our students are met by faculty who are caring, dedicated and knowledgeable in their respective fields; who motivate their students to realize their full learning potential; and, above all, who represent teaching excellence.

As a teaching-oriented institution, the College emphasizes instructional excellence in the classroom. Our professors engage students with a caring, wholesome, intellectually stimulating learning environment so they may grow as individuals and become worthy, productive members of society. In fact, 100 percent of full-time faculty have terminal degrees and strong ties to their professions with real-world experience. They walk into classrooms fully equipped to serve students who desperately need individualized attention to thrive socially and academically on a college campus.

At GBC, it’s not just the highly-qualified faculty that stands out – the College is committed to providing accessible, high-quality, career-focused education. As the global economy continues to shift, GBC strives to meet the demands of an ever-changing workforce. The College is committed to connecting its graduates with careers in their respective fields.
