Organization Mission:

Oyster River Pages publishes voices that speak to what it means to be alive in this world. We look for language, stories, and images that move readers out of themselves and into unfamiliar spaces. We actively seek contributors that bring balance and diversity to historical institutions of power—those whose words and images transcend ignorance and prejudice to reveal the nuanced, resilient, and connective power of humanity.

Oyster River Pages was born in 2016 out of a conviction that too much fine literary work goes unnoticed. This year we celebrate ten years of publishing, and all the incredible energy and insight from our community that has allowed us to pursue our mission. 

This campaign lays the groundwork for the future of ORP. Your contribution will empower us to:
  • Become a fully self-sustainable journal
  • Keep our content and submissions free and accessible
  • Support emerging writers with dedicated editorial feedback
  • Host events to promote new and important voices
  • Expand our outreach to underserved communities
  • Provide financial aid for ORP Schools courses to students in need
