Mission: We are reclaiming, cultivating, and celebrating Native relationships with land, plants, and community for the next Seven Generations.
Native Roots Farm Foundation (NRFF) uplifts local Indigenous communities, Indigenous ecological knowledge, and the community's relationship with the natural world. Colonization and forced assimilation intentionally disconnected the relationships many Indigenous communities have with the natural world. NRFF reunites Native people with aspects of our heritage and shares that knowledge with the wider community through original, educational programs.
Our work builds Indigenous ecological knowledge, supports inter-tribal and inter-generational engagement and learning, reconnects Native people with ancestral seeds and culturally meaningful plants, and furthers the entire community’s relationships with nature.
