Heart in the Game

Our mission is to make Delaware the "Heart Healthiest" state. We provide EKG screenings for DE students. Over the past 10 years we have screened over 6000 students and trained in CPR/AED 3 times that number. Presently, we have a bill sponsored by state senator Nicole Poore and Rep Kerri Harris that will mandate CERP teams (Cardiac Emergency Response Program) + Stop The Bleed in high schools to train for emergencies. We have had many IN school and community-wide events in underserved communities and Title 1 schools.

About Heart in the Game

Mission: Our mission is to make Delaware the "Heart Healthiest" state.

Celebrating our 11th anniversary, Heart In the Game.org stages events statewide to give students EKG screening and to train in CPR/AED. We stage both in school and community-wide events. The results of our screens are sent to pediatric cardiologists for evaluation. If the amendments to the 2014 Grace Firestone Act for Sudden Cardiac Arrest is passed, Delaware will be the "Heart Healthiest" state in the nation.
