Who We Are
Delmarva Public Media is a 3-station public radio collaboration. WSCL 89.5 Classical Delmarva, WSDL 90.7 Rhythm & News, and WESM 91.3 Jazz, Blues, & NPR News.
We strive to be an indispensable resource for people to discover music they didn’t know, to be comforted and delighted by enjoying music they do know, to represent the music culture and spirit of the area and to increase awareness of, engagement with and support of other arts organizations throughout Delmarva.
Our Values
Discovery: we believe that everyone should have a chance to find and cultivate their musical passions by exploring multiple musical genres, learning more about music from trusted experts and experiencing live arts and culture first-hand in person or through media.
Innovation: we in believe in fostering a culture of listening and introspection, and encouraging curiosity and experimentation.
Collaboration: we believe that expanding access to and appreciation of the arts is a collaborative effort. That public media can and should expand the reach, scope and impact of the important work done by local arts organizations.
Inclusion: we believe the fabric of our community is stronger when all of its members have the opportunity to express and share their diverse passions, knowledge, interests and abilities.
Empowerment: we believe that giving power, a voice and a platform to people in our community, especially to young people, strengthens our organization, our communities and our future.
Local: we believe in celebrating, supporting and giving a platform to local music, arts & culture talent, producers, experts and organizations.
