About Delaware Angels
Delaware Angels Inc. (DE Angels) strives to raise awareness of health-related topics and hosts two annual holiday events to benefit medically or economically disadvantaged children and families.
Our organization does a lot with funding.
Current Accomplishments:
• Hosted an admission free holiday event for local Delaware children and families in December 2021. We received $3,000 in donated toys for Nemours Children’s Hospital during the event.
• Santa and Mrs. Clause donated toys by float in a parade to Nemours Children’s Hospital’s in 2021. Children watched the parade from their hospital room windows.
• Organized community members and local law enforcement for a parade at a residential home for medically fragile children, Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) in December 2021.
* Provided a visit from Santa Clause to medically fragile children, their families, and families of ECC staff.
• Hosted a very successful spring egg hunt and holiday event for 450 economically disadvantaged children on a $450 budget in April 2022. The event was free to the community.
• Connected many people with needed medical and monetary resources in their home states.
• Advocated for infants and their families during the formula shortage.
• Continue to empower and advocate for local residents by sharing their medical journeys on social media and with related organizations such as the American Heart Association.
