CWCDC, the Delaware Art Museum, and Delaware College of Art & Design (DCAD) have teamed up to provide a Teacher/Artist/Curator in Residence (TACIR) program. The goal of the program to engage Wilmington residents and artists to provide increased access to quality arts programming in the Chris White gallery, underserved schools, community centers, the Delaware Art Museum, and the DCAD gallery. The TACIR lives in a residence provided by DCAD in the heart of Downtown Wilmington's Art District, and curates exhibitions in the Chris White Gallery, coordinates the gallery committee at DCAD, while also teaching in arts programs for the Delaware Art museum in local schools. We are looking for twelve people to donate $333 each to help cover the salary of the TACiR, enabling us to further our vision for a thriving community-based arts community in Wilmington. Those twelve will attend a meeting with the TACiR and will be recognized on the CWCDC and Chris White Gallery websites.
