Mission: To provide comprehensive, skillful, cost effective pre-hospital emergency and non-emergency health care to the Smyrna and Clayton communities, and surrounding areas, while continuing to evolve with ever changing health care needs.

Organization's Objectives

1.    To provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and non- emergency transportation without discrimination, at any and all times possible, to those who have suffered personal injuries, illnesses, or otherwise require such transportation within the towns of Smyrna and Clayton, State of Delaware, and the surrounding areas, and, as requested for mutual aid.
2.    To continually train and prepare for any and all probable pre- hospital emergency situations as possible. This will include training with other local organizations, county, state, regional, and Federal organizations with which we can accomplish this objective.
3.    To strive and endeavor to enhance and improve our service whenever possible.
4.    To continuously conduct quality control procedures that will identify areas which need improvement and that will improve the efficiency of our service.
5.    To make wise use of funds which might come available for the purchase and procurement of the most cost effective and proven equipment to better serve our citizens.
6.    To develop, initiate, and review a plan that will address Immediate, Short Term, and, Long Term needs of Station 64.
7.    To seek out and recruit community members who can make a positive difference in the daily operations and future direction of Station 64.
