Warriors Helping Warriors

Our mission is to improve veterans’ and their families’ lifestyles through our services and programs. We assist them with case management, financial planning, job search, medical and legal assistance, etc. When the veterans and families actively participate in these programs, they accomplish their goals and become more self-sufficient. The Brian Conley Veterans Resiliency Center is a transitional housing facility that houses up to 12 homeless male veterans.

Warriors Helping Warriors relies solely on donations, fundraisers and grants to operate The Brian Conley Veterans Resiliency Center where veterans and their families can receive case management services to help them improve their lifestyle.

The Brian Conley Veterans Resiliency Center opened in April 2019 and serves all veterans and their families.  We provide programs that enhance their living conditions; either through residential placement in our center or another center or by providing services that improve their life skills, such as financial planning, job placement, family reunification, counseling, support groups, etc.

One of the greatest needs of our veterans is getting their VA and Military benefits.  We take a holistic approach and address the full person(s) not just individual needs.  Since our director, Kevin Conley, has traveled that road, he has unique experience in navigating through the systems and will use his knowledge in walking the veterans and their families through the process.  If needed he hand holds the veterans and accompanies them at their appointments and helps them through the appeal process.

We serve all veterans and their families that ask for help.  We estimate 200 individuals a year will be serviced through at least one of our programs.  We focus not only on the veteran but also the veterans' families.  We service every veteran and family member that asks for our assistance.  The number of hours for each individual varies based on their needs and services that they partake in.  Obviously, the residents take part in more services and programs than non-residents.

Our goal with each individual is to enhance their living conditions.  Our case manager, executive director and operation manager spends hours each day addressing the needs of the veterans.  The veterans meet almost daily with the case manager who helps them with writing/sending letters and resumes, making appointments and advising them on the steps needed to accomplish their success plans.
