About Village Volunteers
Mission: Helping Older Adults Age in Place
Older adults in our community deserve the opportunity to age in place with dignity, independence, and meaningful social connection. Village Volunteers supports this vision by helping older adults age in place with dignity. We provide practical support services, social and educational opportunities, and compassionate connection to reduce isolation and strengthen wellbeing.
From rides to medical appointments, assistance with technology, light household tasks, and help navigating daily challenges, our volunteers walk alongside our neighbors so they can remain engaged and empowered. We offer individual, household, and reduced-fee memberships to residents of Milton, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Dewey Beach.
