Afterschool and summer programs provide a high quality, safe haven for youth to engage in new experiences and develop new skills, while having fun. This fundraiser is imperative to fighting for the education equity of the students and families we serve. The services provided to our after-school care students allow opportunities for effective communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking skills, parent engagement, academic enrichment, behavior and attendance improvement.

About United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

Mission: At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.

When you give to United Way of Delaware you are helping children and families. Whether it's a kindergartner who lacks the resources to learn remotely, or a family calling 2-1-1 seeking immediate shelter, United Way of Delaware has initiatives in the community that make an impact in the lives of real people.
