On the third Saturday of each month, Grace Church Talleyville hosts Community Dinners for anyone to attend! Every community dinner we host is more than just a meal — it’s a symbol of hope, connection, and care. Many families and individuals in our community face food insecurity and social isolation, especially during challenging times. Your support on Giving Tuesday helps us provide nourishing meals, warm companionship, and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you are directly impacting lives, fostering a stronger, healthier community, and spreading kindness where it’s needed most. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or feels forgotten.

Join us in making a difference—your generosity fuels our mission to serve, uplift, and bring people together. Every dollar raised brings us closer to a community where everyone is cared for and connected.

Thank you for your compassion and support!

About Grace Episcopal Church

Mission: We are a tree of life rooted in God’s love reaching out to embrace all.

Grace Episcopal Church, located at 4900 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803, is a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Delaware.  Nestled in the heart of the Brandywine Valley, Grace Episcopal Church retains much of the charm of the farm community from which it sprang. As the oldest Episcopal Church in the Brandywine Hundred, the congregation was first housed in an early stone schoolhouse purchased and refitted for church services in December 1835.

Our current home dates back to 1872, when 10 acres were purchased to build a church and cemetery. The original stone chapel was completed, and the first worship service and dedication took place on July 4, 1875.

That legacy of tradition offers both opportunities and challenges as we embrace the increasing pace of life in the twenty-first century. Like our earliest forebearers, we don't all agree how best to meet these challenges, but we agree that through nurturing faith, and church family, and instilling a deep knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we can journey forward as the Lord calls us.

Beyond the physical allure of our historical church, it is the members that make Grace an exceptional place to visit. Known for their warm-heartedness, open-mindedness, and genuine friendliness, the people of Grace will make you feel right at home!
