Hello Supporters of Code Purple! Our organization has been working since 2015 to help end the suffering of homelessness in our area. Through advocacy and boots on the ground we have sparked a chord in the hearts of thousands of people who daily look out to help the most vulnerable in our community. The spirit of Code Purple and the heart of many have made it possible to house, feed and love on many guest that have come through our doors. Our goal is to expand our partnership with one of our main church sites, Peoples Church of Dover, and to help them grow their reach in the Dover area. We will do this by assisting in the expansion of bathrooms, showers, laundry room and office space that will directly impact the homeless and low income families in the Dover area. Added functionality with an elevator will help guest who are disabled. A modified for commercial use kitchen and food truck is also an added benefit that will help our community. This expansion does not come without cost and for reason we have started this particular fund to help raise money to make these plans come into finalization. We will do the expansion in parts with the ground work starting now for laundry rooms and mobile food kitchen operations.
