Each year, Parent Information Center of Delaware supports children and youth with disabilities and special healthcare needs by providing consultations to their families, trainings, and supporting families as they navigate the complex educational and medical systems accessing supports for their children. PIC is the primary educational resource in Delaware for families, caregivers, and youth dealing with the broadest range of disabilities (e.g. learning, emotional, intellectual, physical, and neurological). Many of the families we serve have, in addition to their child’s disability, also experience economic, cultural, and language barriers that often hinder them from being the effective advocate that all children deserve.  

Now, more than ever, children and families seek our support as they navigate complex education and medical matters. They rely on our trained and knowledgeable staff to assist with IEP meetings, review of IEPs and other special education documentations, one-on-one support and advocacy.
