At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.

“Why” do we do this at UNITED WAY OF DELAWARE? Because there are too many children living in poverty; too many families in crisis!
“HOW” do we do this at UNITED WAY OF DELAWARE? We amplify resources to drive social change through collective impact!
TO ENSURE every third grader is reading on grade level, every teen ready for college or career, and more families are financially stable and empowered!
