Jonathan and Paul Bikepool to Work: It Takes Two to Tandem!

A fundraiser for 4th Annual Commuter Challenge! (Urban Bike Project of Wilmington)

$1,025 raised from 13 donors

$1,000 goal

I’m Jonathan Justice.

I’m fundraising for 4th Annual Commuter Challenge! (Urban Bike Project of Wilmington).

After successfully riding a tandem bike several blocks at a time without crashing, Paul and Jonathan are going to use it to bikepool to work in the Commuter Challenge.  Clearly, at least one of us is not right in the head. Is it the absent-minded professor? Or the otherwise sane and healthy guy who in a momentary lapse of reason agreed to captain this ship of fools? There's only one way to find out, and it will cost you! ;)

We're competing in the 2025 Commuter Challenge to raise money for the Urban Bike Project of Wilmington, Inc. and its community, youth, education, and advocacy programs. We're playing it for laughs, but UBP is seriously worth supporting. So please support us and UBP by turning out on May 16 to cheer (or jeer), and by contributing something if you can.

If we can raise $250 we'll bike most of the course, but walk up Monkey Hill
At $500 we'll bike the whole course, including Monkey Hill. You think this is easy?
At $1,000 we'll add a rack and (empty) panniers
At $1,500 we'll add a laptop computer and a financial-management textbook
At $2,000 we'll add two civil-engineering textbooks
