Organization Mission:
At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.
I personally believe once children are able to read the different types of genres of books, they can grow to have a love for reading.
With a love for reading, it can help build strong minds, creative mindsets and even help create a healthy escape outlet to the day-to-day stress.
