Give Hope to Pets in Need This Giving Tuesday

Every day, pets across Delaware need a fresh start. With your help, Humane Animal Partners (HAP) is here to give it to them. As Delaware’s first and oldest animal welfare organization (formerly Delaware SPCA and Delaware Humane Association), HAP has been saving lives, strengthening families, and supporting our community for more than 150 years.

This Giving Tuesday, your gift goes TWICE as far. A generous group of animal lovers is matching all donations made before December 31, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. That means your support has double the impact for pets who need it most.

Your gift powers HAP’s lifesaving work, including:

  • Adoptions: Helping pets find the safe, loving homes they deserve, and allowing HAP to  bring them up-to-date on vaccinations, spay/neuter, and of course, provide lots of TLC.
  • Low-Cost Wellness & Spay/Neuter: Making essential veterinary care, including exams, vaccines, preventatives, sterilization, and even special surgeries, accessible and affordable for all pet owners in our community.
  • Pet Retention Services: Keeping pets with the families who love them through free pet food pantries and low-cost vaccine & wellness clinics in the community. These resources ease financial strain and prevent pets from being surrendered during times of hardship.

In a year of growing need, your compassion makes all the difference. Together, we can give every pet safety, care, and a brighter future—and give every family the joy of a loyal companion.

Thank you for standing with HAP and making this Giving Tuesday unforgettable!
