Organization Mission:

To foster and develop the arts in the geographic area of Middletown, Delaware encompassing the community’s culturally diverse resources and to preserve the historic nature of the Everett Theatre. Our mission features two primary directions: the visual arts expressed through the Gilbert W. Perry Jr. Center for the Arts and the performing arts expressed through the Everett Theatre complex.

The Gibby Center for the Arts is dedicated to enriching our community through inclusive, dynamic visual arts education and experiences. We nurture creative expression and artistic growth through diverse programming that welcomes artists of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Through our comprehensive visual arts curriculum, engaging workshops, and vibrant art events, we strive to:
