The GFWC Women’s Club of Indian River, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit women’s civic and charitable organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service and is a proud member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs.

Honoring the motto 'Unity in Diversity', the GFWC Women’s Club of Indian River (WCIR) comes together as unique individuals dedicated to community improvement. By actively supporting the empowerment of women, the WCIR impacts the community through volunteerism and fundraising for local, regional, national and international charities.

The WCIR actively participates in and supports:
Advocacy against Domestic Violence
Veterans and active military initiatives
Local homelessness and food insecurity
Local non-profits, charities and organizations
Resource conservation and environmental stewardship
Arts in the community
Education and Literacy
Advocacy for family health issues
GFWC regional, state and national events
Monthly club meetings are held on the second Monday from September through June at 10:00 am at the Indian River Yacht Club, 31398 River Rd, Millsboro, DE.
