Organization Mission:

First State Robotics, Inc. (FSR) nurtures programs in the greater Delaware area that inspire, motivate, and educate K-12 grade youth through robotics-based challenges and encourages them to consider pursuing careers in STEAM fields. We envision young people who are inspired and motivated to pursue STEAM careers as confident, self-reliant, responsible citizens poised to make a real difference in the world.

Why support us?
100% of your donation will go directly to operations of our student programs and teams (FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST LEGO League) in the greater Delaware area.  Students learn technical skills (mechanical design and fabrication, electrical, programming, marketing/social media) in addition to life skills (leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, Gracious Professionalism).  

It is more challenging for our program to meet our financial goals due to the ever-changing environment in Delaware.  Please help us build more STEM-ready, informed citizens.

FSR serves as a local resource to support teams and to assist in the  coordination and execution of Delaware competitions for FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), including:

  • FIRST LEGO League
  • FIRST Tech Challenge
  • FIRST Robotics Competition

By hosting and supporting these programs locally, FSR ensures that students across Delaware have access to world-class STEM opportunities close to home.
