About Duffy's Hope
Mission: Our mission is to provide intellectual, emotional and interpersonal growth opportunities for youth and families through advocacy, education, mentoring and community outreach.
Since 1998, Duffy’s Hope has served youth in our community and was recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2002. Duffy’s Hope offers programs that helps youth plan for their future and a path to achieve it.
Youth Ambassador's Program: provides prevention programming that teaches youth to recognize high risk people, places, things and situations while building self-confidence to handle these risk factors effectively using new skills.
Destined for Greatness 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program: offers college tours, SAT prep, tutoring, financial aid literacy, college application assistance, fun field trips and other initiatives.
Youth Basketball Program: a free sports program delivering meaningful, healthy and safe activities for high school aged students. The basketball leagues are used to instruct young people the importance of healthy lifestyles, literacy, self-esteem, conflict resolution and leadership.
