Organization Mission:
At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.
I am reaching out to share a cause that is important to me and to solicit your support to help me reach my personal goal. As a grandmother of five plus one bonus grand baby, I cannot ignore the thousands of children who are reading below grade level. You see, through my work at United Way of Delaware, I know firsthand the impact literacy long-term on the trajectory of children when they fall behind. At United Way of Delaware, we are fighting for the availability, accessibility and affordability of resources for all children particularly for those in high-need communities. We are building libraries in homes and engaging volunteers to step in and help.
Would you help me do my part and reach my goal of $1,500? If you are concerned this is a scam, call me at 609-868-7010. That’s my personal cell or (302) 530-1415 my work cell.
Thanks in advance.
