As we progress through 2022, we strive to:
  • Support and invest in individuals at the cutting edge of their fields, whose work impacts the cultural landscape at large.
  • Encourage hundreds of artists to explore their ideas and work within the context of the MidAtlantic region.
  • Bring a community of artists to the MidAtlantic region and create opportunities for engagement and cross-cultural exchange with audiences.

Increase your impact! Thank you to the Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) for once again offering the stretch pool to receive matching dollars on a proportionate basis! Thank you to our friends, donors, staff, and board of directors for continuing the importance of art in our community!

About The Delaware Contemporary

Mission: The Delaware Contemporary’s mission is to infuse contemporary art and creativity into the community through compelling exhibitions, dynamic educational experiences, and access to the artistic process.

TDC presents over 30 exhibitions annually of regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized artists that explore topical issues in contemporary art and society. The museum provides opportunities for local and emerging artists, and is committed to educational and community outreach through a variety of immersive programs. TDC welcomes and embraces all who seek to experience art, offering free admission on the First Friday of every month to ensure equitable access to the arts. Through collaboration with artists, curators, and partner organizations the museum takes risks and pushes boundaries to inspire new ways of looking at the world, offer artistically stimulating experiences, and engage more people in the transformative power of art to positively impact our community.
