Delaware Shakespeare 2025 Season & Cast Album

Inspired by Shakespeare's creative vision and the broad societal mix of audiences of his era, Delaware Shakespeare (Del Shakes) brings our community together for vibrant theatre and learning experiences. We envision a Delaware where people from all walks of life celebrate and explore their shared humanity through the lens of Shakespearean works. We have an exciting array of programs planned for the 2025 which we cannot wait to share with the full spectrum of humanity throughout the first state.

This year, we are raising funds during DoMore24 to support the creation of a cast album for Twelfth Night, O Lo Que Quieras. This bilingual musical adaptation premiered during our 2022 Community Tour, and will return, re-vamped and reimagined for our 2025 Summer Festival! This poignant story follows Violeta and Sebastian, twins from Venezuela who are separated in a shipwreck. Stranded in an unfamiliar land, they must navigate surprising discoveries of love, complicated immigration policies, and a deep longing for home.

We are excited to offer the following perks to all donors who contribute to Del Shakes during DoMore24:
  • $1,000: VIP experience at concert in Lewes on July 9, 2025, Del Shakes baseball cap, digital recording, stickers
  • $500: 2 tickets to ShakesBeer in March, baseball cap, digital recording, stickers

Thanks to a special incentive from the DDOA, all gifts help Del Shakes earn a portion of a $175,000 stretch pool. The more we raise and the more donors who contribute to our cause, the larger the payment we receive from the DDOA, and the more magical our 22nd anniversary season shall be!
