Delaware Children's Theatre

Delaware Children's Theatre (DCT) has been providing exceptional and affordable live family entertainment, performance opportunities and cultural enrichment in our community for over 50 years. We strive to preserve the tradition of family theatre started by our founder, Marie Swajeski, while also finding and developing fresh titles to share with our audience. Our overarching goal is to bring the magic of live music and theatre to children and families in the community, and to be a vibrant and relevant source of family-friendly arts engagement.

$3,556 raised from 36 donors

$5,000 goal

Due to COVID-19, the Delaware Children's Theatre was closed from March of 2020 until the fall of 2021. Even now, with the lingering risks, we are open with limited capacity and strict safety rules. Community fundraising and grants are a crucial lifeline for our iconic and beloved community theatre. Our fundraising activities play a  vital and positive role in DCT's ongoing ability to achieve our goal: to bring the magic of live music and live theatre to children and families in the community.

We are thrilled to announce that the first $1000 in donations will be matched by the DCT Board!
