About AFP Brandywine Chapter
Mission: The Association of Fundraising Professionals empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.
AFP Brandywine Chapter was founded in 1985. With more than 150 members representing all sub-sectors of our nonprofit community, our chapter serves the needs of development professionals of all levels, beginner to advanced, executive directors, funders and volunteers. We serve Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northwestern Maryland. For more information, contact us. We help members expand their skills through monthly educational programs, no-cost members’ only “pop-up” programs, National Philanthropy Day Conference, and our mentoring program. Further, we help members build their professional networks through monthly networking events (lunchtime and after work) and affinity groups (planned giving, young professionals, consultants). We work locally to support the vision and mission of AFP International, which is: Vision: To stimulate a world of generosity and positive social good through fundraising best practice.
