Improving Our School Community

Organization Mission:

At Academia Antonia Alonso, we are driven by our mission to inspire children to become joyful, confident, creative, bilingual learners, by providing our students with a strong biliterate academic and cultural foundation. En la Academia Antonia Alonso, nos impulsa nuestra misión de inspirar a los niños para que se conviertan en estudiantes bilingües alegres, seguros de sí mismos y creativos, proporcionando a nuestros alumnos una sólida base académica y cultural biliteraria.

La Academia is raising funds to help support initiatives that will benefit the whole school community. 
We first want to purchase buddy benches for our recess area.  We want our students to have a safe place to use as a place to ask for a friend to play with during recess.
The second item we want to purchase is an evac chair for our nurse to use when students are injured. 
Next, we want to purchase meal distribution equipment to use for our Spread the Love food and clothing initatives to help families in our school and the community at large with basic needs they have.
Finally, the bulk of our fundraising request would go towards purchasing a mascot costume that would be used throughout the year to build school community and celebrate student success.
