A Path toward Equity: Let's create a brighter future for our children

A fundraiser for United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

$590 raised from 22 donors

$200 goal

Everyday I work to create a more equitable Delaware whether its through leading the Delaware racial equity challenges or creating programming to inspire a love of  reading to children, or providing soft skill training to teens and young adults.

I do this work because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to become the best version of themselves no matter what circumstances they were born into. I do this work because I believe that everyday people like YOU and me can truly create meaningful change. We have the power to change people's entire life trajectory in a positive way. Some of us give our time and talent for the movement, while others can give their treasure. All giving is perfect in its own way and all giving makes a difference.

Consider donating to support my work and the other amazing work United Way of Delaware does to create a more equitable Delaware for all.  Every dollar counts.

About United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

Mission: At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.

When you give to United Way of Delaware you are helping children and families. Whether it's a kindergartner who lacks the resources to learn remotely, or a family calling 2-1-1 seeking immediate shelter, United Way of Delaware has initiatives in the community that make an impact in the lives of real people.
