Delaware Gives is an initiative of
Spur Impact, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Delaware that is focused on connecting and inspiring young professionals to get involved and make an impact in their careers and communities. Thanks to funding from Longwood Foundation, Welfare Foundation, Laffey-McHugh Foundation, and others, Spur Impact is advancing a statewide effort to connect the next generation of community leaders and other professionals and leaders to start thinking more critically about nonprofit and community service, including becoming more financially supportive of causes they care about. We hope the Delaware Gives platform becomes a key resource for the entire Delaware community to learn more about the great nonprofit organizations serving the population of our State.
Nonprofits serving or located in Delaware are welcome to use the Delaware Gives platform for their fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns year-round. Individuals can also set up peer to peer fundraising pages or other crowdfunding campaigns to support the nonprofits on the Delaware Gives website. More information can be found on our FAQ page linked in the menu above.
The Delaware Gives platform is also used to power the annual Delaware giving day event,
Do More 24 Delaware. Information about the 2024 event (held over 24 hours on March 7-8, 2024) will be shared with the nonprofit community in Fall 2024.
When making a donation with Venmo, your online statement will display a transaction with Spur Impact Association on the date of your donation but it will not have any description on your Venmo activity feed. You will receive an email immediately after you make your donation, which will contain all of the relevant information you need for your records.
This page is mobile optimized and for desktop works best on the most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. On some occasions, your donation attempt may get “stuck,” or if you select an option to purchase, the total in the box above will display $0. The easiest way to fix this is to refresh the page. If on a desktop, you can do that by hitting shift-refresh (or Command(⌘)-Option-R) on your browser. If on mobile, you can reset your browser and clear the cache by going to your settings on your mobile device and clearing your history and website data.
